| Falls Church Housing Corporation (FCHC) is the non-profit provider of affordable housing in northern Virginia, home-based in Falls Church, Virginia. We are a membership organization of experienced volunteers and a full-time professional staff. Deeply committed to serving our region, our members dedicate their support to the management and development of affordable housing, agreeing with our FCHC mission to serve the housing needs of hard-working citizens and retires challenged by the cost of living in northern Virginia.
FCHC has earned a proud record as owner and manager of quality, affordable housing. By continuing to explore sound new ways to preserve and expand affordable housing choices, we build community-wide understanding and support for local housing needs and solutions.
Beginning in May 2011 FCHC members wisely voted to establish our local non-profit organization with the NHP Foundation to become NHPF's first affiliate, representing an expanded non-profit housing mission in our region which increasingly provides jobs and lifestyle opportunities, but requires a high cost of living for residents that is increasingly unaffordable to a large portion of our workforce and retirees. With NHPF's resources and expertise FCHC will be responding to growing regional housing needs.
