Training & Engagement
H AND’s program committee works diligently each year to gauge the professional development needs of those working in the region’s affordable housing and community development industry. Our schedule of sessions including Member Meetings, Trainings, Discussion Groups and Networking events is released in the fall of each year. One of the unique components of our capacity building series are our discussion groups, which create cross-learning environments for professionals working in the same field to share ideas, lessons learned and opportunities specific to their job. To further enhance this approach to learning and sharing, HAND also hosts experts who are knowledgeable in these fields to make presentations on topics relevant to their profession. Have a suggestion for a training topic or presenter? Email Heather Raspberry today!
Many thanks to HAND’s 2016 – 2017 Sponsors, who offset the costs of HAND’s capacity building sessions. Sessions are free to current HAND members, with the exception of technical courses that are offered through professional training companies at a discounted rate. Non-members are charged a fee for all sessions, however you can always take advantage of our low-cost dues, and join the organization to receive one of the many member benefits: Free and discounted training for your entire organization!
