Mel Thompson, Chair of the Board of Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc. (HIP) in Hyattsville, Maryland, announced today that HIP has selected Maryann Dillon to be Executive Director of HIP and its sister organization, HIP Services, Inc. effective October 15, 2012. Ms. Dillon takes the place of Mosi Harrington, HIP’s founder and leader throughout its 24-year operating history. Ms. Dillon comes to HIP with over 25 years of relevant experience in affordable housing and community development. Most recently she was Director of Real Estate Development at the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. She also worked as Senior Vice President at Banc of America Community Development Corporation and as Director of the Housing Services Department at Enterprise Community Partners. Ms. Dillon has a Masters of Business Administration from Yale School of Management and a Masters of Public Administration through National Urban Fellows at Baruch College.
