The open houses take place on each Wednesday in September and are free and open to all community members. Each open house will include a brief presentation and discussion around topics such as: What is affordable housing? Who lives in affordable housing? Why is it important? How is it financed? Nonprofit building owners are invited to join the U.S. Department of Energy-funded CivicPACE program to discuss practical ways to address the challenges of affordably financing clean energy upgrades on September 1st from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at MWCOG Training Center, 777 North Capitol St NE, Washington, D.C. 20002. Manna welcomes you to register for their annual 5K Fun Run for Affordable Housing whick will take place on September 19th from 8 – 11 a.m. at Rock Creek Park, Washington, D.C. The DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU) and teaming partner the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT) are seeking participants for a survey on energy efficiency resources. By investigating how DC multifamily rental owners and managers make investment decisions that affect energy use, the DCSEU can help ensure that it is providing the best resources for improving your building’s energy performance. Megan Houston from IMT will be conducting 30-minute interviews over the coming weeks. To participate, please fill out the information on the DCSEU website and someone from IMT will contact you to set up a time to speak.

Cancellations & Changes: If you wish to cancel or change your registration for the Annual Meeting & Housing Expo, please send a request in writing to annualmeeting@handhousing.org. All cancellation requests made prior to April 27th will receive a 50% refund. For cancellation requests made after April 27th, no refund will be provided.
